J. Jeffrey Assaf is a Senior Managing Director as well as the Co-Chief Investment Officer and Investment Committee Chairman of ICG Advisors. In addition to setting the firm’s strategic direction and managing client relationships, Mr. Assaf supervises all portfolio construction and modeling. Prior to founding ICG in 2009, Mr. Assaf was a Senior Managing Director of Bear Stearns and Head of its Investment Consulting Group from 1996 to 2008. From 1988 to 1996, Mr. Assaf was a Senior Vice President at Oppenheimer & Co. where he founded the Oppenheimer Consulting Group. He is a graduate of University of California, Irvine (B.A., Psychology) and University of Southern California (M.B.A., Emphasis in Finance). Mr. Assaf serves on the Boards of Directors for several non-profit organizations.

Terry Monis is a Managing Director and Co-Chief Investment Officer.  Mr. Monis is also a voting member of the Investment Committee as well as the head of research and manager due diligence. Prior to joining ICG in 2010, Mr. Monis was a Vice President at Ivy Asset Management where he focused on portfolio management and oversight of the firm’s event driven and distressed debt research team. Mr. Monis is a graduate of Long Island University, C.W. Post (B.S., Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems).

Jonathan Blenner is a Managing Director and voting member of the Investment Committee. His responsibilities include portfolio construction and modeling, manager due diligence, and client servicing. Prior to founding ICG in 2009, Mr. Blenner was a Vice President and Senior Analyst of Bear Stearns’ Investment Consulting Group. Previously, Mr. Blenner was also an Associate at Jennison Associates, an institutional asset management firm in New York. Mr. Blenner is a graduate of Tufts University (B.A., Economics) and he currently serves on the Investment Committee of the Jewish Federation Council of Greater Los Angeles.

Robert Edelstein is a Managing Director and voting member of the Investment Committee. His responsibilities include proprietary fund management, portfolio construction and modeling, manager due diligence, and client servicing. Prior to founding ICG in 2009, Mr. Edelstein was an Associate Director and Head Analyst of Bear Stearns’ Investment Consulting Group. Previously, Mr. Edelstein was an Analyst with Sherwood Financial Group where he served on the Investment Committee for the company’s fund-of-funds, assisted with the management of discretionary portfolios and was responsible for all accounting and performance reporting. Mr. Edelstein is a graduate of University of Southern California (B.S., Business Administration, Emphasis in Finance).

Emily Lehrer is a Managing Director and a member of the Investment Committee. Her primary responsibility is manager operational due diligence. Prior to joining ICG in 2012, Ms. Lehrer led the operational due diligence efforts for Guggenheim Partners’ wealth management, fund of funds, and fund placement businesses. She is a graduate of Yale University (B.A., History) and University of Chicago (M.P.P., Public Policy).

Jewelle Thornton is a Director whose responsibilities include administrative operations, client management, and employee oversight. Prior to joining ICG in 2009, Ms. Thornton was a Vice President at Bear Stearns and Head of Administration for the Investment Consulting Group. Previously, Ms. Thornton was with Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. where she worked as Head of Administration for the Oppenheimer Consulting Group. Ms. Thornton is a graduate of Howard University (B.A., Economics) and has worked alongside Mr. Assaf since 1988.

Allison Petchenick is the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining ICG in 2016, Ms. Petchenick was the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Operating Officer of B. Riley & Co., LLC and B. Riley Capital Management. Previously, Ms. Petchenick was the Operations Manager for Bel Air Investment Advisors, LLC. Ms. Petchenick is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of California (B.S.E., Business Administration).

Justin R.S. Levine is a Director and a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Levine has spent his entire career at ICG, having joined at the firm’s inception in 2009. He serves in a vast multitude of roles, most notably portfolio construction and modeling, client servicing, operations management, procedural strategies, marketing, and manager due diligence. Mr. Levine is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania (B.A., Psychology).

Brent Josephson is an Independent Real Estate Consultant. Mr. Josephson brings 15 years of real estate investment experience. During his career, Mr. Josephson has allocated over $1 billion of capital to real estate funds, invested $300 million+ of bridge capital and acquired and operated more than 2,300 apartment units valued in excess of $400 million across the Southwestern US. Mr. Josephson holds a BBA in Finance and Real Estate from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he was also a member of the Men’s Golf Team. He earned his MBA in Finance and Real Estate from UCLA Anderson.      

Ardavan Mobasheri is a Director at ICG and a member of the Investment Committee.  His responsibilities include focusing on macro analysis and strategy as well manager research and due diligence. Prior to joining ICG, Ardavan was Chief Investment Officer for ACIMA Private Wealth, Senior Fellow at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, and Lecturer in Management at the Jones School of Business at Rice University. Between 2008-2012 Ardavan was Group Chief Economist for the American International Group. Ardavan is a graduate of Lehigh University (B.S. Industrial Engineering), New York University (M.S. Financial Engineering), and pursued his doctoral studies in Economics at the City University of New York.  

Yatin Patel is a Director and member of the Investment Committee.  His responsibilities include a focus on research and manager due diligence.  Prior to joining ICG in 2023, Yatin was Co-Chief Investment Officer at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, a multi-billion dollar nonprofit.  Yatin received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and his B.S. from the University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.

Eric Sartwell is a Director at ICG and a member of the Investment Committee. His responsibilities include portfolio construction and modeling, manager due diligence, and client servicing. Prior to joining ICG in 2009, Mr. Sartwell was an Analyst at Bear Stearns for the Investment Consulting Group. Previously, he was an Analyst at RSM EquiCo Inc., a boutique investment bank. Mr. Sartwell is a graduate of Texas Christian University (B.S., Mathematics) and University of Tulsa (M.S., Finance).

Corry Walsh, CFA is a Director at ICG and a member of the Investment Committee. His responsibilities include business development, portfolio construction and modeling, manager due diligence, and client servicing. Prior to joining ICG in 2023, Mr. Walsh served as an Institutional Investment Consultant and Principal at RVK, where he led client teams advising institutional investors with assets between $300 million and $10 billion. Mr. Walsh earned his undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University and his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Analytic Finance and Econometrics and Statistics.

Michael Weintraub is Director of Business Development at ICG Advisors. Previously Mr. Weintraub served as VP, Marketing and Business Development at OSI Digital and Managing Director of Colony American Finance. Mr. Weintraub was a founder of North American Property Preservation Corporation and served as Vice Chairman of Chrysalis Holdings. Mr. Weintraub also served as Managing Director, Corporate Marketing for Countrywide Financial Corporation.  Before joining Countrywide, he served as VP of Business Development at Protocol Services.  In addition to his work in real estate, marketing and finance, Mr. Weintraub has served as Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Broadband e2e as well as Managing Partner and CEO of WSDirect. Mr. Weintraub also serves as President of the Weintraub Family Foundation and as a board member of Homes 4 Families, a non-profit building affordable housing for first time home buyer veterans and their families.  

Melissa Rhone is an Associate Director whose responsibilities include operations and client servicing for the firm’s proprietary solutions. Prior to joining ICG in 2014, Ms. Rhone was a Vice President at Bear Stearns. In her role, she managed a team that directed various lines of business including hedging oil futures on the NYMEX, servicing high net worth individuals and working directly with private and proprietary investment managers. Ms. Rhone is a graduate of University of California, Irvine (B.A., Social Ecology).

Kimberly Scott-Moseley is an Associate Director whose responsibilities include administrative operations and client management. Prior to joining ICG in 2009, she was an Administrator at Bear Stearns in the Investment Consulting Group. Previously, Ms. Scott-Moseley was a Registered Sales Assistant at Smith Barney. She began her career at Kidder, Peabody & Co. in 1993. Ms. Scott-Moseley is a graduate of California State University, Northridge (B.A., English & Creative Writing).

Chris Fox is a Senior Associate and member of the Investment Committee. His primary responsibility is manager operational due diligence. Prior to joining ICG in 2022, Mr. Fox served as Fixed Income Research Analyst for corporate treasury at U.S. Bank. Previously, Mr. Fox served in various fixed income valuation roles at Capital Group, Fidelity Investments, and Western Asset Management. He began his career at Bank of America as a middle office analyst supporting the Equity Derivatives trading desk.  Mr. Fox is a graduate of Pepperdine University (B.S., Business Management), University of Notre Dame (M.B.A., Business Administration), and Columbia University (M.S., Applied Analytics).

James Neshek is an Associate and member of the Investment Committee.  His responsibilities include performance and risk analysis, portfolio construction and modeling, and client servicing. Prior to joining ICG in 2015, Mr. Neshek was a Senior Financial Analyst at Cydcor, LLC in Los Angeles. He is a graduate of University of Southern California (B.S., Business Administration) and Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School at University College Dublin (M.S., Finance).

Aditya Prakash is an Independant Research Consultant.  Mr. Prakash has worked with ICG since 2017.  Prior, Mr. Prakash was a CDP Tech Analyst at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. for Corporate & Investment Banking. He is a graduate of BMS College of Engineering (B.E., Information Science and Engineering) and UCLA Anderson School of Management (M.S., Financial Engineering).  

Shanan Reiff is an Associate and member of the Investment Committee.  Her responsibilities include portfolio construction and modeling, performance reporting and analysis, and client servicing. Ms. Reiff joined ICG Advisors in 2015 and is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles (B.A., Economics).

F. Kenneth Vudmaska is a Senior Associate whose responsibilities include portfolio accounting, fund reporting and fund operations. Prior to joining ICG in 2018, he served as Accounting & Operations Manager at firms such as Breaker Capital Management, Dalton Investments, and Giovine Capital Group. Previously Mr. Vudmaska was senior portfolio accountant, performance and quantitative analyst at First Quadrant, LP.  He began his career in 1999 at Trust Company of the West in the Client and Fund Services department.  Mr. Vudmaska is a graduate of the University of California, at Santa Barbara. (B.A. Philosophy, with a concentration in ethics and Public Policy).

Tommy Assaf is an Associate and member of the Investment Committee.  His responsibilities include portfolio construction, modeling and client servicing. Mr. Assaf is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Classics.

Jennings Franciskovic is an Associate and member of the Investment Committee.  As a member of the research team, his responsibilities are to source and evaluate investment opportunities and analyze markets.  Prior to joining ICG in 2020, Mr. Franciskovic played professional volleyball in Italy Series A for 3 years and was a member of the USA Indoor Men’s Volleyball Olympic Training Team. He is a graduate of University of Hawaii at Manoa Shidler College of Business (B.B.A., Entrepreneurship; B.B.A., Marketing). Jennings played Division 1 volleyball for Hawaii and was a two-time All-American (First Team in 2017).

Ava Kautz is an Associate and member of the Private Funds Team whose responsibilities include fund operations and client servicing. Ms. Kautz is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Communications.

Dillon O’Keefe is an Associate and member of the Investment Committee.  His responsibilities include portfolio construction and modeling and client servicing.  Mr. O’Keefe is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (“UCLA”) with a degree in Economics.

Ichiro Maruta is an Operations Associate whose responsibilities are to administer and improve the firm’s financial reporting systems and investment analysis data. Prior to joining ICG in 2014, he held multiple positions in systems, trading, and operations for various private and institutional wealth management firms. Mr. Maruta is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (B.A., Finance, Real Estate, and Law).

Teresa Dekker is an Administrative Assistant and Receptionist. Prior to joining ICG in 2012, she worked for decades in Publishing as a writer and editor for magazines. Previously, Mrs. Dekker worked in Radio, Advertising and Corporate Communications. She is a graduate of Illinois State University (B.A., Broadcast Journalism). In her free time, Mrs. Dekker does “anything and everything creative,” including designing a greeting card line, photography, improvisational cooking, and writing about life stories.
